Sierra Drumond

Sierra Drummond is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music runs the gamut of many styles from indie folk to Americana to R&B/blues. Her honest lyricism and raw voice invokes names like Bonnie Raitt and Tracy Chapman, and more current voices like Gillian Welch and Norah Jones. She was influenced by all aforementioned artists but especially by her parents, (members of 70s progressive rock band Ambrosia and contemporary duo Tin Drum) who instilled in her a passion for music from a very young age. After sustaining a vocal injury setback that prevented her from singing for 4 years, Sierra has taken a circuitous route to pursuing her music, working first in education and social organizations, only recently healing enough to find her way back to her first true passion. She works primarily as a solo singer-songwriter, but also as a touring musician, music instructor, resident “troubadour” at the Old Place/Cornell Wine Co with her partner Danny Levy, as duo “Strawberry Blonde,” as a freelance bassist, keyboardist, guitarist, in a rotation of bands throughout Ventura and LA county, and of course, as a writer, singer, and instrumentalist in the “Tin Drum Family Band.”

Sierra is available for hire as a music instructor (she teaches two days a week from Tin Drum Studios), as an entertainer for events/venues/programs of all varieties, and as a session arranger, vocalist, and instrumentalist.

You can contact her directly through her Instagram, email at sierradrummond@gmail.com, or through Tin Drum’s booking portal.
